Election Observation in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
Mr. Shehzad Anwer has worked as a development practitioner and researcher in Pakistan, with elections, parliamentary observation, and rights-based advocacy as the key areas of his professional experience. Over the last seven years at TDEA, Mr. Anwer has contributed to designing and implementing various projects and initiatives, including TDEA’s election observation in 2013 and 2018 and citizen observers’ training based on a comprehensive election curriculum. He has also directly observed several by-elections held between 2010 and 2019 in interior regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Punjab. Having been actively engaged with international development partners, he is also familiar with major funding organizations’ technical reporting, including DFID, EU, and USAID.
