Professor Dr. Mohammad Waseem

Professor Dr. Mohammad Waseem is the elected Chairperson of TDEA’s Board of Trustees. He is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the Department of Social Sciences, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where he has long been recognised as one of Pakistan’s leading scholars in the field. He has served as the Chairman of the International Relations Department, at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He has been honored to serve as Pakistan Chair at St. Antony’s College, Oxford, from 1995-1999. He is a Professor of International repute and has taught at many national and international universities as visiting faculty. He is an author par excellence and has extensively written on constitutional, electoral, and sectarian issues in Pakistan. He has led a number of DFID- and UNDP-sponsored research projects to the best of his abilities.
