Mr. Shahid Fiaz

Mr. Shahid Fiaz recently joined TDEA’s Board as a Trustee. He is an international development professional and governance expert with over 20 years of diverse experience working with both national and international organizations. His expertise spans the design and implementation of large-scale development programs, institutional and coalition strengthening, and relationship management with donors, governments, and civil society. He is also skilled in financial management of contracts and grants, as well as managing human resources and operational functions in complex and challenging environments.

Previously, Mr. Fiaz served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) and Director of Programs at The Asia Foundation (TAF). His career also includes work with the South Asia Forum for Human Rights (Nepal) and the Aurat Foundation (Pakistan). Additionally, he has consulted for organizations such as The Futures Group, Palladium, Verité Inc. (USA), Fair Labor Association (UK), the Asian Development Bank (Pakistan), and the Social Development and Policy Institute (Pakistan).
