Justice (R) Majida Razvi has recently joined the TDEA’s Board as a Trustee. Currently, she is the Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission. With a career spanning 40 years, she practiced her legal skills in the high courts and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Justice ® Razvi was the first woman Judge of the Lahore High Court and delivered several landmark judgments during her tenure as a Judge. She has also served as the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women. During her tenure in the Commission, she released a report on the Hudood Laws, which offered an in-depth analysis of the enforcement, impact, and ambiguities in the law. She is the recipient of many national and international awards for her contribution to the rule of law and legal processes. She has authored numerous research papers and articles on legal issues, especially on women and children.
