The Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) is a not-for-profit organization, established in 2008. TDEA manages Pakistan’s most credible network of civil society organizations, Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN), a network of leading civil society organizations, well-placed in terms of availability of systems, expertise, and specialists in order to respond to and proactively pursue results leveraging on its outstanding work in the past decade. The Trust has an eight-member Board of Trustees, which ensures its adherence to laws of the country and makes every effort to implement these laws in letter and spirit.
Since the enactment of the Right of Access to Information Act, 2017 by the Parliament, it is incumbent upon TDEA to designate a public official in accordance with section 9 of the Act. The management is pleased to designate:
