TDEA’s Relationship with FAFEN

The Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) supports the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN)—Pakistan’s first network of civil society organizations focused on strengthening democracy through oversight of electoral, parliamentary, and governance processes. FAFEN currently comprises 20 regional networks and over 500 tehsil-level civil society organizations. It is widely recognized as a credible voice for promoting transparent, accountable, and responsive governance. TDEA utilizes FAFEN’s extensive grassroots presence to advance its mission and ensure broad outreach to its beneficiaries. The impact of TDEA’s work through FAFEN has been acknowledged by political parties, Election Commission of Pakistan, NADRA, Judicial Commission, international observation groups, and domestic and international media.
