Developing and Disseminating a Nationwide Strategy for Local Government Election Observation
The Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) developed a nationwide strategy to monitor local government (LG) elections in Pakistan. It included the development of observation methodology for both direct and indirect phases of LG elections, including possible clustering or sampling of polling stations on Union Council basis. A desk review of international and national best practices was also part of this exercise.
