Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) is soliciting applications for its Talent Pool / Pipeline. Position: Talent Pool - Finance Professional – Mid Level
No. of Positions: Multiple
Salary Range: PKR 50,000-100,000
Expected Date of Joining: As and when required
Duration of Contract: Till the end of the project
Location: Islamabad, with the possibility of traveling
His /her primary responsibilities to provide the support function to Manager Finance and Accounts for the financial and operational management of project.
Finance Professional – Mid Level will assist the Senior Manager Finance and Accounts for day to day transactions, reconciliations, book-keeping, and management reporting, etc
To facilitate External Audits, Internal Audits, and Donor Audits.
Provided documentation required by auditors in a timely manner and resolved their queries for audit facilitation
Liaise with other projects, head office, and employee benefit fund managers regarding closeout to ensure that all payables and receivables have been recorded effectively
Ensure proper Project Closeout and final settlements of Implementing Partners on a timely basis.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
Preferably Master’s degree in Finance from HEC recognized university, ACCA qualified with four years of relevant experience; or CA Finalist / Inter trained from a reputable CA firm
Familiarity with donor’s (UNDP) financial management rules and regulations with respect to contracts will be an advantage;
Excellent IT and Communication skills;
Detailed orientation, good time management skills and resourcefulness;
Fluency in English and Urdu required;

It is a full-time job and the position is located at Islamabad. It, however, involves contingent traveling along the lines of accomplishment of the aforementioned responsibilities. The job shall likewise involve late sittings and working on weekends/holidays where required by the circumstances.
